The investigation into the death of ‘Friends’ star Matthew Perry has revealed some shocking details and events that unfolded before his tragic demise last October. According to the latest reports on Fox News, the actor was injected with Ketamine at least three times on the day of his fatal overdose, authorities stated.
During a press conference on Thursday, Martin Estrada, U.S.Attorney for the Central District of California, announced the arrest and indictment of five individuals, including two doctors, in connection with the actor’s death.
Kenny Iwamasa, Perry’s live-in assistant, allegedly learned how to administer the anaesthetic from co-defendant Dr Salvador Plasencia, who reportedly supplied the vials at Perry’s Pacific Palisades home. Jasveen Sangha, also known as “The Ketamine Queen,” sold the Ketamine along with her associate Dr. Mark Chavez and a middleman, Eric Fleming.Neama Rahmani, a former federal prosecutor and president of West Coast Trial Lawyers, commented on the case, stating that Perry was “exploited” because of his celebrity status. “These entourages often act like leeches,” Rahmani said. “They see the money and exploit the vulnerabilities of individuals like Perry, who was public about his struggles with addiction. It’s a tragic situation.”
Text messages disclosed in the indictments reveal that Plasencia allegedly messaged Chavez, saying, “I wonder how much this moron will pay” and “Let’s find out.”
According to the report, the investigation details how that the defendants sold approximately 20 vials of ketamine to Perry for $50,000 in cash and, in a separate transaction, sold 50 vials for $11,000.

Iwamasa, who admitted to repeatedly injecting Perry, without proper medical training, pleaded guilty on August 7 to one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine causing death. He has reportedly reached a plea agreement.
The indictment further reveals that Iwamasa injected Perry with ketamine at least 18 times between October 25-27, including at least three injections on the day of his death, Fox News reported.
Court documents also reveal that Sangha maintained a stash house in North Hollywood, California, where she allegedly stored and distributed controlled substances. She has been charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute ketamine, among other charges. Her involvement in Perry’s case led to her indictment for her role in the 2019 overdose death of another individual, Cody McLaury.

Eric Fleming, who acted as a broker between Sangha and her clients, was also implicated in the case.
